Hello everyone,

If you are reading this blog it's probably because you are one of my wonderful facebook friends. If you are not you can find me at www.facebook.com/TobyPedford This venture is geared to try and start a new conversation about the life we live today and all it's controversies, contrivances and contradictions. It's time we broke out of the 24 hour news cycle telling us what news is, shaping our minds to fit their mold. It's time we challenged the prevailing ideas and ideologies to find what is at the heart of our communities and our country. I think that honest discussion and critical thought will provide a hermeneutic of life that breaks all barriers and unites people. So please write comments, letters, send articles and the like to help it get going.

One thing I think would be interesting if we got enough readers would be to do a point-counterpoint type convo, so you guys be thinking about that. I would even like to mediate a video debate, which I think would be fun if we could find challenging topics and debaters. Email me if you are interested.

I will take this time to say that I am not a politician neither am I politically correct. I wont police this blog for speech that disagrees with me only that which is extremely vulgar or hateful.
